Shift vs Change

” A shift is a fundamental reorientation of who you are, what you see, or how you deal with life versus simply deciding to do things differently”

This is a quote from one of my life coaching books and it really hit home. For four years T has talked about “cognitive” shift”  and I understood it to mean making better, rational decisions. I’ve been doing the work to make better, rational decisions. I’m actually very rational, but it’s hard to stick to better decisions if I’m only rationalizing them and not really believing in them.
